Happy Holidays for the 2009 Season!! 

Brown Santa would like to thank all the volunteers that have helped us. All of our slots are full and we can take no more volunteers. Again Thank You from all the Brown Santa staff and we hope every one has a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

Information volunteers will need to know:

Individual volunteers may drop in at their convenience during hours of operation. Space is limited so groups of 4 or more will need to call or email in advance to reserve a date/time. Due to the large number of volunteers, we will sign up groups for no more than a maximum of 2 hour increments. This is to better give an opportunity to all those that want to volunteer a date/time slot. If you are scheduled a time slot and are unable to make it, please contact Brown Santa as soon as possible.

An adult must accompany all children under the age of 16. A group of  children under the age of 12 will need to have 1 adult per 3 children. Children in age from 12-16 will need 1 adult per 5 children. If the child/children can not drive to provide their own transportation, an adult must accompany them.

The location for Brown Santa is usually a "warehouse" type setting and appropriate clothing must be worn. Enclosed shoes must be worn (no sandals or high heels), bring a jacket or sweater, it may be colder in a warehouse sitting than it is cold outside. The buildings donated do not always have heat and air, so dress appropriately.

VOLUNTEERS:
Prior to arriving to Brown Santa, if you have a group and you do not have a date reserved already, please call the warehouse at 24-SANTA (247-2682) to check on space availability.

Brown Santa is located at:   15400 Long Vista Drive  (same location as 2008)


Directions:  Go north on IH 35, take the Grand Ave exit, at light at Grand Ave and access of IH 35, turn left. Take Grand Ave to where it dead ends in to Bratton Lane, take a left on Bratton Lane, go down to Long Vista, building sits on the corner of Long Vista and Bratton.  Watch for the Brown Santa signs.
