Brown Santa has had an overwhelming response from the volunteers, we are no longer taking any volunteers.  

We would like to thank all of the volunteers ,that came out and those that are scheduled over the next few days, a great big Thank You, we could not do the program without your help. Thank you those volunteers, you know who you are, that have been faithfully volunteering to Brown Santa for many, many years. 

Keep in mind, we start signing up volunteers November 1 of each year. Happy Holidays to each of you and hope to see you next year. 

Hours of operation for 2011 are as follows: 

Mon-Thurs 12pm - 8pm. 
Fri & Sat  9am - 7pm 
Sundays 12pm - 7pm  

Brown Santa warehouse will be closed on Sunday November 20, 2011. That is the day we have our annual Harley Davidson toy run we will reopen on Monday the 21st at 12pm noon. 

On Wednesday December 14th the warehouse will not open until 2pm. Brown Santa has a delivery at Western Trails Retirement Center that morning.

When you are siging up, you will need to include the date/time that you want to come, contact name and number, how many in group and name of group or organization. You will be sent a confirmation email. 

Information volunteers need to know:

Individual volunteers may drop in at their convenience during hours of operation. Space is limited so groups of 4 or more will need to call or email in advance to reserve a date/time. Due to the large number of volunteers, groups will only be allowed a maximum of 2 hour increments. This is to better give an opportunity to all those that want to volunteer a date/time slot. If you are scheduled a time slot and are unable to make it, please contact Brown Santa as soon as possible.

An adult must accompany all children under the age of 16. A group of  children under the age of 12 will need to have 1 adult per 3 children. Children in age from 12-16 will need 1 adult per 6 children. If the child/children can not drive to provide their own transportation, an adult must accompany them.

The location for Brown Santa is usually a "warehouse" type setting and appropriate clothing must be worn. Enclosed shoes must be worn (no sandals, flip flops or high heels), bring a jacket or sweater, it may be colder in a warehouse sitting than it is cold outside. The buildings donated do not always have heat and air, so dress appropriately.

Prior to arriving to Brown Santa, if you have a group and you do not have a date reserved already, please call the warehouse at 24-SANTA (247-2682) to check on space availability.

Brown Santa is located at: 2400 Grand Ave, Ste. 106

Directions:  Go West on Grand Ave from IH 35. Take Grand Ave until it dead ends in to Bratton Lane. Take a right on Bratton, turn into the second drive/entrance to the building on the corner. That will be the entrance to Brown Santa Warehouse
